‘DON’T CALL THEM BASE WINES!’
Adriano Zago talks about the wines of 6 great biodynamic wineries
SUNDAY 26 JANUARY 2025
4.00 p.m. at BERBERÉ in Manifattura Tabacchi
Price 20€
Adriano Zago, agronomist, winemaker, ICF coach and writer of the only manual international manual of biodynamic viticulture, will be with us during this fifth edition of Vini Migranti.
Through the tasting of some wines from selected wineries we will discover with him a glimpse of what Cambium (Adriano Zago’s project for professional support to biodynamic and organic farms) achieves, applying winemaking practices that respect the environment and biodiversity, resulting in authentic and genuine wines.
Working for wise care of the land, unconditional respect for nature, and a deep passion for biodynamics Adriano will show us that even the simplest and most accessible wines can express with emotional power a place, a territory, and the professionalism of those who make them. Companies that work well aim to express the highest quality in all their products: from the most immediate to the most iconic.
So all that remains is for you to come and taste them.
But remember-don’t call them base wines!
THE PROCEEDS FROM THE TASTING WILL BE DONATED TO CHARITY FOR THE PEOPLE OF GAZA AND LEBANON
Wines from the wineries will be tasted:
FORADORI
1701 FRANCIACORTA
SERRA FERDINANDEA
CERETTO
AMPELEIA
FATTORIA LE MASSE

Everyone should know a trade.
One as old as the dawn of time.
I, after a long lull in post-university limbo, one fine day had the good fortune to become an innkeeper.
Immediately, nineteen years ago, I tried to respond to this opportunity by putting on the table all the impetus of the innermost drives and passions that had characterised my formative years: good Music, a cultural baggage weighed down with healthy Literature, a natural disposition towards Sociality, a high sense of Hospitality, and the instinct to Travel.
Slowly, in the course of the working days, in the succession of ever new discoveries in the field and from the encounters that arose within the osteria, a true transversal terrain of Humanity, all this enormous material was amalgamated, as if after a very long macerative fermentation, and in the end I rediscovered myself, recognised myself, found myself again.
This meeting is a narrated reflection on ‘The Art of not knowing how to do otherwise a job that is already well done’.
And a tribute to a Master who taught me to ‘do the necessary things’ almost without realising it.
During the show there will be a tasting of 2 wines and cured meats from a ‘rare piece’ of Parma pork butchery (Salumificio Bocchi – Fornovo Taro, PR)
